Heterogeneous LoRaWan deployment for application dependent IOT networks

In this study, we present an application-dependent heterogeneous LoRa network. Previous studies on LoRaWAN and particularly that rely the use of adaptive data rate to optimize performance network are based purely path loss nodes in with assumption all have similar requirements terms latency. a real-life full-scale deployment, is unlikely be case as current deployment trend shows practical implementations service-based. This approach means critical applications will suffer reliability issues since they compete non-critical services for same resources. To address problem, propose capable providing support ranging from delay-tolerant delay intolerant improved through preferential transmission parameter allocation. Our study can increase probability successful uplink by up 44 percent transmitting within 3 km radius gateway, possesses 20 higher packet delivery comparison homogeneous at cost slightly energy consumption.
